Commercial Grey Water Systems

Commercial Grey Water System involves the collection of bath and shower water which is then filtered, disinfected and recycled for the use of toilet flushing only. The amount of water used for bathing is the same as that for toilet flushing within muli-occupancy buildings such  Fire Stations, Schools, B&Bs, etc.
Commercial Grey Water System Benefits

  • More cost-effective with smaller footprint than most membrane filtration systems
  • Minimal use of chemicals
  • Warranties
  • Naturally mined media
  • Ideal pre-treatment for desalination, reverse osmosis and membranes etc
  • Low volume of water for backwash
  • Low whole of life cost
  • The media is guaranteed for fifteen years
  • Simple annual maintenance

  • The Multi-Layer Filter Bed provides a grey water system for the elimination or reduction of pathogenic micro-organisms
  • Remarkable advances in deep bed filtration
  • A beneficial alternative to membrane filtration
  • Generally filters suspended solids to 0.2 of a micron
  • Mobile or fixed units
  • Fully automated systems
  • Four layers of inert natural media:
    • Increasing density
    • Decreasing particle sizes
    • Mechanical retention
    • Surface bacterial adsorption
    • Self-levelling
  • Integral self cleaning backwash system
  • Deals with contaminate concentrations of up to 500 mg/litre - filtering to less than 0.5 NTU (officially classified as "ultra-clear")
