Grey Water Recycling, Rainwater Harvesting and Waste Water Treatment Systems

Grey Water Recycling

Aquaco offers a uniquely cost effective solution for the collection waste water and grey water from baths, showers and hand basins to re-use for toilet flushing, irrigation and washing machine supply. Aquaco grey water recycling and harvesting systems reduce  waste water usage by typically 50%, provide a payback of 3-5 years and are the most cost effective way to gain Breeam or Code for Sustainable Homes points.

Rainwater Harvesting

Aquaco rainwater harvesting systems collect rainwater from roofs and/or hard standings to re-use for, toilet flushing, laundry/dishwasher water supply, and irrigation. Such a system can stand alone, but is often supplied as part of a combined grey and rainwater system where demand exceeds the grey water supply.

Electro-coagulation Systems

The Aquaco Electro-coagulation system effectively and economically removes pollutants, in particular metals, from the effluent streams from industrial and commercial applications. Typical applications include the galvanizing industry, the metal processing industry, packaging factories, textile refining companies, container cleaning, printing and paint processing. Combined with an Aquaco filter press the system will isolate the waste as dry cake and allow the water to be reused in the industrial process or run to drain.

Vacuum Belt Filter

The Aquaco vacuum belt filter is a unique modular system designed to extract the desired material from a slurry, leaving the clean water to be reused or run to waste. The system is used to extract minerals such as magnesium, chalk and gypsum in existing installations. The modules can be stacked thus increasing capacity within the same footprint.

The Aquaco Automated Trace Metal System (ATMS)

The ATMS is an instrument used to detect and measure metals in water. The system works using electrochemical voltage-current measurements. This is the only system which can remotely monitor trace metal pollutants accurately, constantly and in the field without contaminating the source further.

Water Treatment Systems

Aquaco offers a variety of bespoke waste water treatment systems including Ultra Violet, Activated Carbon Filters and Chlorine Dosing, etc. The treatment of waste water for the end use whether that be through filtration of waste water, water conditioners or water treatment chemicals for the removal of contaminants in waste water.
