Rain Water Harvesting and Grey Water Recycling System now being installed at "The Greenhouse Project" in Leeds

Aquaco have supplied a combined rain water and grey water recycling/harvesting system for an apartment building refurbishment.

Witihn the apartment development Aquaco have supplied two 40,000 litre capacity rain water and grey water collection tanks. The grey water will be utilised primarily with the rain water used as a top up, should there be insufficient grey water for the toilet flushing within the complex.
The grey water (bath and shower water only) will be pumped , filtered and disinfected prior to distribution. The rain water top up will also be fed in to the system following filtration and disinfection. It is anticipated that the water consumption within the building will reduce by approximately 33%.
